A dimmer is a device designed to vary the brightness of an artificial light source.
By lowering the light intensity manually or at set times, it is possible to reduce both light pollution and the consumption of the system.

NEWS: DIMMER LEADING EDGE MADE IN ITALY

F/ART has designed the "DIMMER LCU" specifically for cold cathode tubes (neon) powered exclusively by electromagnetic transformers, such as Resinblock.
It is fully programmed and manufactured by the company in Preganziol (TV), Italy.

DIMMER LCU: 3-WAY BRIGHTNESS ADJUSTMENT

  • Potentiometer (supplied with the dimmer)
  • 0-10V signal
  • PUSH-BUTTON

The LCU dimmer can also be used in DALI (or similar) systems by using interfaces to convert the control signals to 0-10V.

DIMMER CONNECTION

Several LCU dimmers can be cascaded via the daisy chain system, so by dimming the first dimmer the others will automatically dim as well.

Thanks to an integrated fine-tuning trimmer, the brightness of groups of neon tubes or halogen lamps (powered by electromagnetic transformers) can be equalised.

Example: Dimmer LCU & Daisy Chain

OTHER FEATURES

  • Integrated surge protection (SPD)
  • Integrated earth leakage protection (PPE)
  • DIN rail mounting
  • Connection to several transformers at the same time

WHERE NOT TO USE LEADING EDGE DIMMERS

Il prodotto NON va adoperato in abbinamento a trasformatori elettronici o a lampade alogene (spesso erroneamente chiamate “neon”).
